Mr. Zeb Deaton, and his sister who has been visiting here for a few weeks left Friday for Statesville. He returned the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Sloan, of Davidson College, came up last week and have opened Hotel Lithia. Several guest ac companied them. -Mrs. W. W. White and daughter Mrs.' A. C. Dodamead and her two children, of Lex ington, are at the hotel and will spend the summer here.
