Four Areas To Receive Aid There are four major areas in North Carolina in which the Re settlement Administrations Land Utilization Division plans to dem onstrate the value, proper use and conservation of the state’s natural resources, say James M. Gray, of Raleigh, regional director in charge. Gray who has spent 25 years studying such problems list ed: eroded portions of the moun tains; hilly cotton and tobacco re gions retired from cultivation and reforested as well as the cut-over timber land and smaller work of the same along the coastal plain. In most regions this will be grad ual. Old Landmark At Hamlet Razed This month witnesses the des truction of the once most famous hotel in the south—the Seaboard at Hamlet. Its reputation for good food was world wide.
