THE ZEBULON RECORD, ZEBULON, NORTH CA ROLINA, FRIDAY, THE TENTH OF JULY, 1936.

LIKE A TOWER
Out of all earth’s maze of sorrow,
Rising higher like a steeple—
Like a church’s simple tower.
Is the courage of the people. . . .
We can see it, clear and vivid,
Miracle of sweet profoundness—
High with meaning, never failing.
’Tis a marvel and as boundless
As the beauty of the earth.
Yea —this courage of its people!

What Rate Reduction
Means to YOU
j[ If you already have telephone service :
You can use the saving resulting from the rate reduction
to have an extension telephone installed upstairs or in some
other handy place. It will save time and steps in answering <alla.
Or, you can have the more attractive and convenient handset
type of telephone installed, and your saving would make it easy
to pay the small cost.
If yyu are a party-line user, dividing the use of the line with
others, you can change now to a higher grade of service and
enjoy greater freedom in the use of your telephone.
To make any of these changes, or for information, just get
in touch with the Business Office.
2 If you do iSOT have telephone service:
The rate reduction means that you need not delay longer ia
having a telephone installed in your home or office.
Always a bargain, telephone service is now so low in coat
that it is within reach of even the most modest income.
Consider the value of the telephone in the busiess and social
life of your family. In almost every daily activity, it keeps you
in instant reach of almost everyone, anywhere, at very small cost.
It is easy to order your telephone. Just get in touch with the
Business Office. Or, any telephone employe will be glad to take
your order.
