j
WHY?
; It may have been civic pride; it
' may have been passion for ac
jcuracy; it may have been the auto
jmatic reaction of a publicity agent;
, but it was a bit out of the ordinary
ito read concerning an ABC store
Jin a small town that its opening
j was good; that they erred who
said the sales were small on its
first day; that the report was sent
out too soon to tell all the facts;
that, really the town bought as
Jmuch liquor as any other of its size.
1 Or words to that effect.
