Pleasant Hill News J. T. Knott continues to improve in health after a tonsil operation. Mr. Billie Neal and Miss Lois Neal of Ringgold, Va., spent the wek end at the home of their Un cle, Mr. Arch Neal of this section. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Hood and children of Boonville spent Sat urday night and Sunday with their mother, Mrs. E. W. Hood. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Hunt and children spent Sunday with Mrs. E. W. Hood. She is improving slowly, still confined to her bed. Mr. and Mhs. Charlie Jones and Mrs. H. H. Hood were visitors at Mary Elizabeth to see Mrs. Bessie Wiggs who is improving sowly. Mrs. Powell Puryear returned home after spending some time in Durham and Manners. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Jones and daughter of Durham were visitors at T. Y. Puryear’s Sunday, also C. D. Puryear, Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Puryear of Wake Forest. Mrs. Edward Neal’s mother is spending a few weeks with her. The wisdom of life is to do a thing and have done with it. E. 372 feet to a stake; thence S. 3 deg. W. 1830 feet to a stake; thence S. 87 deg. 36 minutes W. 372 feet to a stake; thence North 3 deg. E. 1850 feet to the beginning, con taining 15 5-7 acres more or less. This is Lot No. 1 in the division of the Albert Keith lands. SECOND TRACT: Begins at the north corner of Lot No. 1, thence S. 88 deg. E. 374 feet to a stake; thence S. 3 deg. W. 1800 feet to a stake; thence S. 87 deg. 36 min utes W. 374 feet to a stake; thence N. 3 deg. E. 1830 feet to the beginning, containing 15 5-7 acres more or less. E. 1132 feet to a stake; thence S. 3 deg. W. 434 feet; thence N. 3 deg. E. 732 feet to the beginning, containing 32 acres more or less. SIXTH TRACT: Beginning at a stake northeast corner of Lot No. 3, in the division of the Albert Keith Estate, runs thence N. 84 deg. 6 minutes E. 378 feet to a stake; thence S. 3 deg. W. 1920 feet to a hickory; thence S. 87 deg. 36 minutes W. 377 feet to a stake; thence N. 3 deg.
