Since the first meeting on Jan. 24, the club has met twice. Once at the home of the president, Mrs. Margie Ellis, ■where a program committee was appointed—Mrs. Iver Carpenter, Mrs. Addie Hall, Mrs. Etta High. At this meeting the boys’ vocation al instructor, J. T. Locke, was present and promised his hearty support for the club. Miss E. G. Smith, home economics teacher, also joined the club and promised willingly to help with the work. Delightful refreshments were served. The next meeting was held at the school building. After a devo tional service Mrs. Iver Carpen ter recited a poem, ‘Trees.” J. T.
