Carson of Rutherford County cut
five tons of hay from the first
growth and allowed the second
growth to remain on the land. It
now forms a mulch about three
inches thick and acts as an erosion
control. Mr. Carson says kudzu
also makes fine pastureo if not
grazed too closely.
