Tuesday, June 24th
Tuesday, June 24th, has been designated as "Tele
phone Day" in Zcbulon. You, your family and friends
arc cordially invited to come and see some of the
magic of telephony which will be on exhibition in the
building next to the Zebulon Drug Store from 9:00
A.M. to 12:00 noon, 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and
7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
You will have an opportunity to hear your own
voice as it sounds to others over the telephone by
means of the "Voice Mirror." Another feature will be
the "voice scrambler," a magical apparatus through
which your spoken words are scrambled together into
unintelligible sound and then unscrambled into clear,
normal speech.
The day's activity will close with the showing of
a talking moving picture which both young and old
will find interesting and enjoyable.
These and many other interesting and instructive
phases of the Telephone industry will be displayed
during the hours mentioned above. Come and bring
your family and friends.
