H. Ihrie *>f Wendell died Saturday afternoon at 4:45 at his; home after an illness of tw r o years. He was 74 years old. The funeral services were con ducted at the Wendell Methodist Church at 11 o’clock Monday m rning and burial followed in the Episcopal Church cemetery at Pittsboro at 3 p.m. Dr. Ihrie had practiced den tistry in Wendell since 1914. His first wife was Miss Margaret Strange of Atlanta, Ga., and of this union four children were born: John Haughton Ihrie, Jr., of Zebulon, R. R. Ihrie. H. R. Ihrie and Mrs. Jim Coley, all of Wen dell. His second wife was Miss Hattie Moore Ihrie, and she sur vives him, along with one daugh ter, Mrs. Joe Palmer of Wilson. Fourteen grandchildren also sur vive. Dr. Ihrie was a member of the Wendell Methodist Church for 25 years. The Rev. C. E. Vale, pas tor, assisted by the Rev. C. W.
