THE FINANCIAL CONDITION OF THE TOWN OF ZEBULON
FEBRUARY Ist, 1938
The Town indebtedness Feb. 1, 1938 was $182,298.00, bearing
interest at the rate of six per cent per annum.
The indebtedness of the town of Zebulon today, April 23,1947, is
$122,000.00 at an interest rate of less than three per cent per annum.
In addition to the above reduction of indebtedness, the town's
Capital Assets have been increased $40,000.00 under the
present administration.
The town's present cash balance is sufficient to take care of all
current obligations.
On the above record by me as Mayor for nine years, assisted by
my able Board of Commissioners, we solicit your support and
vote in the coming Primary, April 28, 1947.
