Funeral services were held at the Beaver Chapel Christian Church Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p. m. Survivors are two sons and one daughter, Mr. Hulda Baker of Zebulon, Mr. Joe David Baker and Mrs. Maggie Brannon both of Bal timore, Maryland. She has been a member of Bea ver Chapel Christian Church for a period of 48 years and was liv ing in this section of this commun- The Zebulon Record ity when the town of Zebulon was first built. We wish to thank the people of Zebulon as well as people of other communities for their splen did cooperation in sending flowers j and offering their help in the fu neral services of urr mother Mrs. Mary Hart. Miss Martha Ann Hart ' Extra-curricular activities for the school year on Monday with registration taking place in the various home rooms. Among the activities listed were: basket- j ball, music, dramatics, physical education, and public speaking. A representative number of students have registered for these activi ties. Public speaking is being presented as an activity this year for the first time since the pro gram was begun. Students will be introduced to the various means of speech presentation and will receive practical experience in speaking before groups.
