Page Two PILOT NEWS Mrs. R. P. Harris of Louisburg a couple of days with Mrs. O. D. Stallings. Miss Carolyn Tant spent the weekend with Pansy Denton. Archie Bunn, Jasper Stallings, and Alfred Denton left Sunday for the Merchant Marine. Sherwood Beddingfield was at home with his wife and family for the weekend. Charles Rose was also home with his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Fulford were honored with a shower on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Fulford is the former Doris Watkins, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Watkins. Mr. Bejork showed a movie last Tuesday evening. Dudley Stallings was home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Stallings. Cad Cone of Mullins, S. C., was home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Watson of Gold ston are visiting with their son in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bejork for a few days. Wf are very sorry to hear of the illness of Mrs. Brodie Martin and hope she wiU soon be well. Mrs. Sonnie Alford is improving nicely. Regular church sei'vices will be held and the public is invited to attend. —Bonita David-Lucano Miss Arleen Lucado, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Lucado of Pamplin, Virginia became the bride of John Edward David, son of Mrs. John Edward David, Sr. and the late Mr. David, of Rich mond and Zebulon, Saturday morning, Jan. 17th at 11:00 a. m. at the home of the officiating min ister, Rev. C. F. Allen, 1226 W. Washington Street, Petersburg, Virginia. The bride, who was unattend ed, wore an acqua dress, black ac cessories, and a shoulder corsage of yellow roses. Z. N. Following the ceremony, the couple left for a wedding trip to Florida, after which they will be at home at 2502 Hilliard Road, Lakeside, Richmond, Virginia. Mrs. Alford Hostess Mrs. James Alford was a re cent hostess when she entertained her bridge club at her home on Sycamore Street.
