Friday, February 27,1948 Young People's Class Meets at Mrs. Pippin's The Young People’s Class of the Wakefield Baptist Church met with Mrs. Harold E. Pippin, teach er, at her home Thursday night. The newly elected officers for this year are: President, Jean Thornton; Membership Vice-Pres ident, Francis Phillips; Steward ship Vice President, Mrs. Sprite Ferrell and Etta Vee Lyles, co workers; Secretary, Hilda Baker; Treasurer, Sprite Ferrell. Plans were discussed for furth er organization of the class, and the members voted to have the next business meeting March 29. After a selection, “The Story of the Violin Sermon,” was given by Mrs. Pippin, the meeting adjourn ed for a social hour during which refreshments were served by the hostess.
