Young People's Class
Meets at Mrs. Pippin's
The Young People’s Class of the
Wakefield Baptist Church met
with Mrs. Harold E. Pippin, teach
er, at her home Thursday night.
The newly elected officers for
this year are: President, Jean
Thornton; Membership Vice-Pres
ident, Francis Phillips; Steward
ship Vice President, Mrs. Sprite
Ferrell and Etta Vee Lyles, co
workers; Secretary, Hilda Baker;
Treasurer, Sprite Ferrell.
Plans were discussed for furth
er organization of the class, and
the members voted to have the
next business meeting March 29.
After a selection, “The Story of
the Violin Sermon,” was given by
Mrs. Pippin, the meeting adjourn
ed for a social hour during which
refreshments were served by the
hostess.

two miles north of Zebulon, offer
for sale and sell at public auction,
for cash, the personal property
of the said M. C. Pate consist
ing of the following articles of
personal property, among others:
Farming implements, plows,
hoes and the like;
One old two-horse wagon;
One old stalk cutter;
One old dies harrow;
A lot of corn;
One mowing machine;
One lot of old tobacco sticks;
Two mules;
Lots of dry feed and other art
icles not mentioned.
