Friday, March 5, 1948 FARMERS TO MEET MONDAY NIGHT The weather conditions pre vented our calling the Farm Bu reau meeting for February. The night set apart for our meeting was so cold and snowy that it would have been impossible for us to have the meeting anyway. We are calling a meeting for the regular time in March. Keep the time, March Bth, at eight o’clock, in mind. If Monday, March Bth, is a fav orable day for work most of you will be in the fields until late so we are calling the meeting for eight o’clock. Carl Bunn will make a brief talk of interest on things that he would like for us to do on our farms. Members of our Farm Bureau who attended the State conven tion in Asheville will report on happenings at the State Conven tion. One item of interest to every member of the Farm Bureau in North Carolina is to be presented at this matter. This matter con cerns everyone of us. Be sure to be present at the March meet ing. When matters of vital con cern to the entire membership of the state come up each of us should have an opportunity to ex press his opinion on such matters. We will be looking for you Mon day night, March Bth at 8 o’clock in the Wakelon School auditori um. E. H. Moser, President PERSONALS J. W.
