Page Six PILOT NEWS We had a beautiful weekend didn’t we? A lot of visitors too. Sgt. and Mrs. Ned Medlin of South Carolina visited his mother, Mrs. Ludie Medlin on the week end. Mrs. Alex Wood of Louisburg was with us for church service Sunday. Miss Peggie Privette of Wilson spent a few days in the commun ity last week. Mr. Kenneth Cone of Raleigh was home with his mother, Mrs. Rona Cone. We had a little of everything to happen last week. New babies, family moved in, sickness, deaths and visitors. Mr. and Mrs. Broadus Denton announce the birth of a new daughter, Brenda. Mr. and Mrs. Waddell Ray and Barbara moved to Pilot last week. I’ll bet she likes it fine. We are very sorry to hear of all the sickness in our commun ity. We hope they will soon be better. Mr. P. G. Denton, Sr. has been very sick. He is somewhat better now. Mr. Ernest Privette is improv ing after his illness last week. We hope Mrs. Durwood Stallngs keeps improving as nicely as she is now. We wish for Mrs. Broadie Mar tin a speedy recovery. Mrs. O. D. Stallings is some what better. Mrs. B. C. Ray has added an addition to our sick list this week. Mrs. Harry Mack of New York, came to visit her parents, while her father, Mr. O. G. Denton was ill. Sherwood sßedldingfield wa home with his wife and aby. The Pearces W. M. IJ. Society has invited the Pilot W. M. U. to join them in a study course on Friday night, taught by one of the girls of our community, who attended Louisville Seminary, Mrs. Carl Lewis.
