Page Two Baptists to Have Ordination Services Ordination of the newly-elect ed Deacons and Deaconesses will take place Sunday at the morning worship service of the Zebulon Baptist Church. Those to be or dained are Raleigh Alford, Vester Brantley and Howard Beck, Dea cons, and Mrs. B. H. Johnson and Mrs. Howard Massey, Deaconesses. The young people will have charge of the evening worship service. Mr. Elwood Perry will preside and Billy Brantley will read the Scripture lesson. Speak ing will be Wilbur Conn, Charles Horton and Marie Corbett, who are participants in the training union Better Speaker’s Contest. Legion Post 1 to Meet Monday, March 15 The March meeting of the Wen dell-Zetyulon Post of the Ameri can Legion will be hell next Monday night, March 15, at the Legion Hut on Highway 64, Post Commander Ferd Davis has an nounced. There will be no supper meet ing, and the business session will be held at 7:30 p.m. The session will be short in orier that Zebu lon residents may also attend the Founder’s Day exercises of the Wakelon Parent-Teacher Associa tion. Little Wayne Price, son of B. B. Price has been brought home from Duke Hospital. He is able to walk around some and there is some hope for his full recov ery. He will return to +he hos pital next week and then we will know more definitely about his recovery. Mrs. J. R. Davis and two chil dren of Baltimore, Md., are visit ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs, B. M.
