Page Two PILOT NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Javaman Finch of Richmond, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jones, of Smithfield and Mr. and Mrs. Ceba Jones and Mrs. Brown of Raleigh all visited Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Jones on Sunday. Mrs. Maylon Frazier and Miss Ora Alford of Raleigh were among the many visitors in the community on Sunday. Miss Louis Nanney spent the weekend with Lazelle Lewis. Kenneth Cone of Raleigh was home with his mother, Mrs. Rona Cone and also Cadwin. Miss Nell Stallings was home from Greenville. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pearce of Kinston spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Geneva Pearce. She returned to Kinston with her son for a few days visit. Mrs. Emmitt Wiggins and Mrs. Harvey Holden visited their moth er, Mrs. Mamie Bunn last week. Mrs. Reca Gomas, Mrs. Neva Crews, and Mrs. Carl Moore of Raleigh, relatives of Mrs. Miley Bunn visited her on Wednesday. Mrs. Milton Griffin and chil dren of Wilmington spent last weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Phillips. Mrs. Raymond Johnson of Ral eigh was honored with a shower on Saturday night, given by her mother, Mrs. Jim Bullock in the home of Mrs. Preston Massey. There was a large number pres ent and all the gifts were greatly appreciated. Mack D. Pippin who has served a couple of years in the army has returned home to stay. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Pip pin. Mr. Archie Bunn and Miss Pansy Denton, both of this com munity, were married on Friday morning. Mrs. Bunn is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Denton. Mr. Bunn, the son of Mrs. Mamie Bunn. Earl Williams has been sick. We hope he is better now. We hope Mrs. Durwood Stall ings, Mrs. Nina Martin and Mrs. Pet Denton keep improving. The W. M. U. Society held its monthly meeting on Saturday night in the home of Mrs. Rona Cone.
