Debnam went to Winston-Salem Sunday to see their grandson, Frederic Jones, who is a patient in the Bap tist Hospital. Betsy Driver, daughter of the Raiford Drivers and student in Wakelon high school, is seriously ill in Watts Hos-oital, Durham. Massey, Arm strong Cannady and Miss Ruby Dawson were hostesses at bridge Friday evening, at the home of Mrs. Massey in Zebulon, announc ing the engagement and approach ing marriage of Miss Helen Bunn to Glynn Dickerson of Bunn. Guests were given envelopes which contained the announce ment, “Glynn-Helen, May 15, 1948.” Arrangements of spring flowers were used throughout the home and the honoree was given a cor sage of white carnations.
