Friday, April 9, 1948 Senior Class Begins Work on '4B Play The Class of ’4B has begun work on the Senior play, Hook, Line and Sinker, which is to be pre sented at Wakelon Auditorium on April 16 at eight o’clock. The play cast consist of the following: Angel Benedict—Hilda Baker; Bonita Smalley—Virginia Bobbitt; Septimus Sinker S. G. Flowers; Edna Sinker—Mar •uerite Duke; Harvey Hook—Ben llassey; Cherry Raynard—Lillie Ferrell; Lester Line —Rex Tippett; Hallem—Frances Phillips; Jordan Bob Vance j Brown; Amelia Crossword—Gena vee Ellington. Under the direction of Miss Grace Franck, the play is swiftly beginning to take shape, and members of the class of 1948 are leaving no stone unturned to make the play a success. Members of the community are urged to keep the date open for a hilarious comedy which will not only be enjoyable to those \ present, but will be a subject of conversation so wreeks after wards. Horton honored her daughter, Jeanette, with a luncheon on her birthday March 30, at 1:00 at her home. Spring flowers were used throughout the home and a beau tifully decorated birthday cake centered the dining room table. Girl Scout Meeting Zebulon Girl Scout Troop 12 celebrates its second bii’thday this month. Thursday, April 13, the Troop will have a birthday party. Since the girls are working on their First Aid Badge with Miss Talbert during their regular meet ings on Thursday afternoon. The party is being planned for Thursday night, the 15th, at 7:30 in the Woman’s Club.
