A county ginners school was held and a county ginners or ganization was formed. The cot ton samples submitted to the U. S. Department of Agriculture for classification showed an improve ment in grade over previous years. fc Miss House to Play Miss Jocelyn House, dean of music her fifth year at the State School for Blind accompanied Atty. John Mills to Wake Forest Friday evening where she spent the night in the home of Prof, and Mrs. W. E. Speas, joining Mrs. Allen Easley, Wake Forest State Cook, of Wake Forest department of music, Saturday and motored to Edenton where they were judges in the North Eastern Fes tival. Miss House will also judge at the South Eastern regional contest which will be held at GreenviFe, April 17, and the one scheduled to meet at Raleigh, the 10th. The night was warm enough to make the camping en joyable for the three patrols par ticipating. The Rattlesnake Patrol, head ed by K. D. Lloyd, had 12 mem bers present. Eight hammocks and a tent were pitched around their camp fire. Other patrols taking part were the Rebel under Bobby McGee and the Wolf un der Robert Lee Privette. Sunday afternoon the Scouts, 22 strong, met at Wakelon School for the first baseball practice for the troop. Scoutmaster Barrie Davis lined up his first two teams, but found the pitching and catch ing positions woefully weak. Don nie Cherry turned in the best per formance in the field.
