Friday, May 21, 1948 Dickerson-Bunn Vows Are Spoken Saturday The marriage of Miss Betty Helen Bunn, daughter of Mrs. Lu cy Honeycutt Bunn and the late E. H. Bunn of Zebulon, to Glynn Mc- Coy Dickerson, son of Mrs. Emily Dickerson and the late J. M. Dick erson of Bunn, was solemnized Saturday morning, May 15th, at 11 o’clock, in the Zebulon Baptist; Church. The Reverend Carlton T. i Mitchell, officiated. The altar was decorated with fern and tall bask ets of white gladioli, flanked by seven-branched candelabra. Prior to the ceremony, Charles Horton, organist, presented a pro gram of nuptial music. Mrs. L. M. j Massey was soloist. Ushers were Harold Bunn, brother of the bride, and W. A. j Allman of Zebulon; Carval C. Cheves of Bunn and Charles The odore Cheves of Princeton, N. J. The maid of honor, Miss Ruby Dawson of Zebulon, wore a Sacony Palm Beach suit of aqua with hat B Robert N. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses tied with satin rib- ' bon. The bride and bridegroom en- ' tered together. She wore an orig inal model suit of natural gaber- i dine. Her off-the-face hat of j natural straw was trimmed with pink roses which matched her blouse. The white prayer book she carried was showered with purple orchids and satin ribbons. Mrs. Bunn, mother of the bride,; was attired in a green and white j floral Bemberg dress with black accessories and w'ore a corsage of white carnations. Mrs. Dickerson is a graduate of Wakelon High School and Hard barger’s Secretarial School. For the past three years she has held I a position with the Zebulon Banch of the Peoples Bank and Trust I Company. Prior to that time she was employed by the North Caro lina Department of Revenue. Mr. Dickerson was graduated from the Bunn High School and is a veteran of World War 11, having j served three years in the Pacific j The Zebulon Record area. He is engaged in the lumber business and farming. Immediately following the wed ding, Mr. and Mrs. Dickerson left fr* a wedding trip to unannouno ed points.
