Friday, June 11, 1948 Scouts Make White Lake Trip Sunday Twenty-five Boy Scouts and Scoutmaster Barrie Davis spent Saturday night at White Lake last weekend, returning to Zebulon late Sunday afternoon in the second camping trip away from home for the Zebulon troop. The group left at 4:30 Saturday afternoon, arriving at the lake in time to pitch camp before dark. Except for one splinter and sev eral cases of sunburn the Scouts suffered no casualties. They made the trip aboard trucks provided by Roy Joyner and Riggsbee Massey. Sunday morning the Scoutmas ter taught the Sunday School les son to the group. The Scouts stood and repeated the Lord’s Prayer at the close of the lesson.
