baby of Newport News, Va., ar
rived Saturday to visit Mrs. Cor
bett’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Hales. Mr. Corbett returned home
Sunday. Mrs. Corbett and the
baby will remain all week. Mr.
and Mrs. Hales will take them
home this weekend.
After a stay in Duke Hospital
Miss Martha Williams has been
brought here to the home of her
sister, Mrs. C. G. Weathersbv.
Their mother, Mrs. A. L Williams
of Clover, Va., is also at
Weathersby’s.
Mrs. Frank Freeze, with her
baby son, is visiting h?r husband’s
mother in Sylva.
Rev. G. J. Griffin and Mrs. Grif
fin are now located : n Wake For
est where Mr. Griffin is a member
of the faculty in the Department
of Religion in the college.
