Page Ten Another 100,000 Are Taken Care of Here When a prescription for W. H. Lucas, who lives near Poplar Springs on Zebulon, Route 2, was brought in and filled at the Zebu lon Drug Company, it finished an other 100,000 prescriptions for E. C. Daniel’s 43-year-old drug firm. Dr. Chas. E. Flowers had written the prescription and it was filled on August 16. The drug company donated the prescription to Mr. Lucas in cele bration of the event. Although they have not kept an accurate record of the exact number, the druggist states that he is sure over a half million prescription have been filled since the Zebulon Drug Company was started. The store is the oldest business in Zebulon still under its original management. Local Bride-elect Is Honored by Friends Miss Sue Scarborough and Mrs. Warren Dean of Wendell were hostesses at a pai ty Saturday eve ning, at the Hephzibah Communi ty Center, honoring Miss Emma Vic Gill, bride-elect of October. The house was decorated with summer flowers. Miss Gill was given a corsage of white tube ros es and carnations. About 60 guests were present and games were played. A lace cloth covered the table and an arrangement of white as ters and fern was used with ivy and flanked by white burning tapers. Mrs, Henry K. Baker pre sided over the punch bowl.
