Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garvey, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Garvey visited with Mrs. Garvey, Jr.,’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Wil liams, for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Medlin of Ft. Jackson, S. C., were also home with his mother, Mrs. Ludie Med lin. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Higg nutt, Jr., of Chester, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. Higgnutt were guests in the home of Mrs. Higgnutt’s par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Pippin, over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Mr. Victor Stallings and Vincent of Raleigh were home with their mother, Mrs. Mamie Stallings. Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Averette of Norfolk, Va., spent the week-end here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Pearce. James Pearce is also home with them. We are very sorry that Mr. Mil lard Stallings and Mr. W. I. Phil, lips are in the hospital. We hope they will soon be well and out again. Aubrey Bullock was home last week. Our deepest sympathy goes to the family in the death of Mr. George Bullock. Mrs. Hubert Bunn, Mrs. Will The Zebu lon Record Perry, Mrs. Claude Lewis, and Sgt. and Mrs. T. B. Ward spent Sunday afternoon in Bailey with the Reid Perry’s. Merle Bunn, Lozelle Lewis, Winnie Cone, Cadwin Cone, Sgt. and Mrs. T. B. Ward, Hilliard Phil lips, and Sam Philips had a chick en fry in Bailey Saturday night. Bunn defeated Pearce’s Sunday afternoon, 2 to 0, while playing the series. James Pearce of our comunity pitched a good game in favor of Bunn.
