Friday, September 24, 1948 Mrs. Hendricks Honors Bridge Club at Supper Mrs. Randolph Hendricks was hostess, Monday evening, when she entertained at dinner for mem bers of her bridge club and had as special guests, Mesdames Ruric Gill and A. S. Hinton. Eearly fall flowers were used throughout the home. A three course dinner was serv ed. Place cards marked the places of the guests. Following dinner bridge was played. Winners of high, floating and low score awards were Mes- J. R. Sawyer, Rom Moser T. F. Monk. included: Mesdames Gill, A. S. Hinton, J. V. Gill, J. R. Sawyer, R. Vance Brown, T. F. Monk, Rom Moser and Glynn Dickerson of Bunn. Personals Mr. and Mrs. Foster Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. William Brantley spent Sunday in Wilson with Mrs. Vinson Lively. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Beck and family spent the weekend in Max ton. Allen Hinton who is in boot training in San Diego, will return to Zebulon in two weeks. Joe Tonkel is in a Rocky Mount hospital suffering with an infected lung. Although seriously weaken ed from extremely high tempera ture, he is slowly improving. Donald Mason, nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Watkins, has been enrolled as a student at Oak Ridge Military Institute for the school year, 1948-49. Pictures Framed!
