Page Eight Car Stolen Yesterday Off Main Street Here A 1937 Ford automobile, stolen yesterday afternoon from off the main street of Zebulon, had not been recovered this morning as deputies and patrolmen widened the search. The car was stolen when Gene vee Ellington left it in front of Flowers Store to make a purchase. Two unidentified negroes were re ported to have driven the car off before any alarm could be given. Personals Mrs. Jethro Stell at tended the Gupton-Read wedding in Durham Saturday afternoon. They also attended the flower show held in the Durham armory. The district meeting of the Woman’s Club met at Goldston Thursday, September 23. Attend ing from Zebulon were: Mesdames Robert Ed Horton, Dighton Fidd ner, Thurman Murray, Ed Elling ton, and R. H. Herring. Bride-Elect Feted Miss Emma Vic Gill bride elect of October, was compliment ed at a tea when her grandmother, Mrs. J. E. Gill, and her aunt, Miss Catrina Gill, received at their home in Zebulon, Arrangements of late summer flowers were used throughout the home. The hon oree received a corsage of white flowers. Miss Catrina Gill greeted the guests at the door and introduced them to the honoree and Mrs. Gill. Mrs. Randolph Hendricks di rected guests to the dinning room where Mrs. R. H.
