Mrs. Janet Conn is visiting in
Warren ton.
Mrs. Lela Horton and daughter,
Miss Lila Horton, attended the
funeral this week of Mrs. Mamie
Oldham of Graham, who was the
mother of Mrs. Otis Horton of
Raleigh.
Mrs. C. M. Watson was hostess
to the Dora Pitts Circle of the
Baptist W. M. S. Monday after
noon.
Miss Katherine Pulley was home
with her parents for a week after
staying in Rex Hospital with in
testinal flue and a sore throat for
four days.
Mr. and Mrs. James Pulley and
Eva Pulley went to Rocky Mount
Saturday morning. Eva returned
and spent the night with Betty
Jean Gay.
Mr. and Mrs. Pulley visited some
friends in Rocky Mount, Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Layton. Ben and Wilbur
Pulley spent their Navy careers
together. Then they went out to
