in helping my little friend, Wayne
Price, win the electric train. We
have named it “The Rexall Spec
ial,” and he is enjoying it a lot.
I went to sea him and his train
Sunday. He seemed to be a lit
better or at least he played and
seemed to enjoy it. lam so thank
ful he got it. I am sure he will
pass off a lot of lonesome hours
by having it.
I also thank the Davis boys
for the nice gift of engraved sta
tionery you sent me for Christ
mas. It’s nice to have your name
on some things, isn’t it? I like to j

time, too. Ha. Ha.

enough to get around all right.
I have just read of the death of
our friend, Mrs. J. M. Whitley. I
Mrs. C. B. Eddins, Sr., was rush
ed to Rex Hospital Sunday night.
Hope she is better by now.
Mr. Tom Hester of Wendell was
brought from Rex Hospital Sun
day. He is some better.
Mr. and Mrs. David Elks were
home with the E. A. Rhodes for
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred were here
at Sunday School Sunday. She is
the former Mae Eddins.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Alford
are here spending the holidays
with her mother, Mrs. Mamie

Church and a good crowd.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mimms and
family, Mrs. H. A. Hodge, Sr., and
Mrs. E. W. Hood spent Christmas
day with Mrs. Vera Rhodes and
the H. A. Hodges. Mrs. W. S.
Broughton and Mrs. Vera Rhodes
visited the E. V. Richardsons Mon
day p. m. at Rosedale Manor.
Mrs. Bettie Bolton is sick this
week at the home of Mrs. Edgar
Liles. We hope she will soon be
Mrs. Lyda and Edith Bridges are
home for Christmas.

New Year Resolutions. The New
Year comes on Saturday.
