Moss The wedding of Miss Margaret McLeod Bunn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Howard Bunn of Peachland, formerly of Zebu lon, and James Thomas Moss, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Moss of Youngsville, was sol emnized in a formal ceremony Saturday evening in the Peachland Baptist Church. The Rev. J. C. Meigs, pastor of the church, of ficiated at the double-ring cere mony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wo.e an original gown of white Dutchess satin fash ioned with an off-the-shoulder ef fect formed of small tucks by a bertha of satin and Chantilly lace, pointed sleeves, and basque bod ice with full skirt extending into a circular train. Her finger tip veil of imported French illusion fell from a tiera of pearlized orange blossoms. She carried a cascade bonquet of white tuberoses showered with lilies of the valley and centered with a white orchid. Her only ornament was a strand of pearls, a gift of the bride groom. The attendants were all college classmates of the bride. The bridegroom was attended by his father, William Thomas Moss, as best man. Ushers were Wil liam Bunn, uncle of the bride; Bill Bunn, cousin of the bride, both of Zebulon; Bruce Stinson of Boonville, and Maurice Pickier of New London. Mrs. Bunn, mother of the bride, wore a gown of black crepe, beaded in cut steel beads, and lavender orchid corsage. Mrs. Moss, mother of the bridegroom, wore a black crepe dress and an orchid corsage. A color scheme of green and white was used through out the house. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Broome greeted guests and introduced them to the receiving line which was composed of Mr. and Mrs. Bunn, the bride and bridegroom, and Mr. and Mrs. Moss, parents of the bridegroom, and the wed ding attendants. Also receiving with them was Howard Bunn, only brother of the bride. Mrs. Gene Marsh of Marshville, assisted by Mrs. William Bunn of Zebulon, presided over the punch bowl. Assisting in serving were the honorary bridesmaids. Following the wedding recep tion, Mr. and Mrs. Moss left for a wedding trip to southern points. For traveling, Mrs. Moss wore a burgandy suit with black acces sories and an orchid from her bridal bouquet. The couple will be at home in Raleigh after Jan uary 1 at 123 Montgomery Street. She has been a member of the Polkton School Faculty since September. On Friday afternoon at 5 o’clock the bridal couple-elect, the bridal party and out-of-town guests were entertained at the home of the bride at a buffet supper. At this time, the bride and bridegroom presented gifts to members of the wedding party.
