Friday, May 27, 1949 Union Chapel Sunday was a beautiful day and the Sunday School attendance was very large. We all are hoping that June 12th, which is our Home coming Day at Union Chapel, will be beautiful too. All the public is invited. Mr. and Mrs. Cordie Ferrell and children spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Lillie Ferrell of Pearces. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Creech and Brenda, Mesdames Clem Creech and Siddie Creech visited in the home of their brother and uncle, Mr Parrish of Johnston County. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bobbitt visited in Wilson and also attended the big Singing Convention Sun iay afternoon. Miss Flonnie Ferrell. Mr. A. O. Gay. Mr. J. S. Carter, Jr., and Miss Debbie Ferrell visited with Mr. and Mrs. Cordie Ferrell Sun day night.
