Friday, July 15, 1949 LIZARD LICK HAPPENINGS We feel sure as the busy time with tobacco approaches that our congregation at church will grow smaller but we do hope that every one will make a sacrifice and try to come. You need your church and your church needs you. | Our Sunday School will continue on through the summer at 10:00 and preaching at 11:00 a.m. The Training Union at 8:00 p.m. every Sunday night at Hephzibah. We are very happy that most of our sick are improved. We wish to remember Mrs. Harry Hinnant who never feels well. May good health soon be with her. Mrs. Dona Todd is improving and we are so glad for her. We are very sorry little Peggy Johnson had the misfortune to break her arm last Saturday while visiting little Ann Alford. They were riding their bycicles when Peggy’s threw her breaking the left arm just above the lebow. Our best to her and may it soon be healed. Miss Mae Gay was the Saturday night guest of Miss Peggy Scar boro. Miss Charlotte Fuller of Mil brook is spending this week with Miss Iris Fuller. Mr. Noward Perry, USN and Lamuel Perry and a friend of Wake Forest called on Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Fuller late last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Richard son and son of near Zebulon, Mr. and Mrs. Sherward Wood and Mrs. J. R. Wood of Olivia and Mr. and Mrs. Lattie Sorrell of Raleigh visited Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Wood and family. Also Mr. Charles Perry of Zebulonw as there a while Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Evans and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Mil ford Carter of Durham visited Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Parrish Sunday. Mr. Ernest Parrish received in juries about the head from a fall taken while fishing during the week end. May they soon be heal ed.
