Friday, August 5, 1949 Pleasant Hill We had 146 present for Sunday School. That is the lowest number we have had in quite a while. But we didn’t have church services because our pastor, the Rev. Joe Roach, and family went to Lex ington for the week end. Maybe that was why some stayed away. Come on next Sunday. We really get a blessing out of Sunday School services if we do miss a sermon. Mrs. Mary Alice Horton returned from the hospital last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Avery Hood and children o f Durham, Mrs. Saphia Sampson and children of Wallace, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Todd of Wendell, RFD, were visitors with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Hood, on Sunday. It was Mrs. Hood’r birthday and we wish you many more. Agnes. (Editor’s note: As Mrs. Fuller says this week, that was a mistake in printing. And mistakes will happen, it seems. Especially in printing offices.) Visitors at Mr. T. Y.
