Tobacco season is over, sc come on, lets reach our 200 mark again. Don’t forget our revival starts next Sunday night at 8 o’clock. The visiting minister will be Rev. Some of the visitors at church Sunday were, Mr and Mrs. Hugh IWoffard, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Sink ■of Lexington, N. C. They were visiting the Rev. Joe Roach. We were glad to see Mr. and Mrs. Proctor Earp from Raleigh at church. Mr. and Mrs. Jam Carter visited Mrs. C. D. Puryear of Bunlevel, N. C. Sunday. Also Mr. D. L. Moody went with them. Miss Vir ginia Puryear home with them after three weeks stay here with relatives. Mr. E. W. Hood is spending some time at Boonville with her son, E. E. Hood. We are sorry Mr. Perry Wood is still ill in Watts Hospital in Durham. Mr. and Mrs. Nallie Alford of Chicago, 111., were visitors at his brothers, Mr. Roscoe Alfords Sun day. Also a number of other rela tives were there for Roscoe’s birthday dinner. Mr. Joseph Allen of Selma, spent the week end with his daughter, Mrs. T. Y. Puryear, Jr. Mr. A. O. Puryear had a chicken barbecue lawn supper Saturday night. Those to enjoy the supper , were, his family, Mrs Maggie Wood, and children, Mr. and Mrs. T. Y. Puryear and son Earl, Mr. and Mrs. John Moody, Mrs. James Blackley and little daughter Misses Jeraldine Hood and Virginia Pur year. Mrs. Minnie Duncan of Raleigh is spending some time with Mrs. B. K. Horton. Mr. Wallace Puryear who is in the army stationed at Fort Jack son, South Carolina spent the week end with his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Y. Puryear. Other visitors at Mr. Puryear’s Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Puryear and children of Mitchell Mill, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Capps and child ren and Mrs. Joe Thorne of Varina. Mrs. Almus Weathers and daughter and her two girl friends of Roles ville. Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Puryear and little son of Youngsville and Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Puryear and child ren. Mrs. E. C. Pearce of Raleigh spent the week end with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. B. K. Horton. The Baraca and Philathe Class of Hephzibah church enjoyed a barbecue supper at the community center building, Saturday evening. Quite a number met and cleaned up the church cemetery Monday. —Mrs. T.
