Friday, September 23, 1949 Baptist Promotion Plans Are Made Promotion Day will be observed at the Zebulon Baptist Church on Sunday. Mr. Armstrong Canna dy, Intermediate Superintendent, announced the following promo tions to the Young Adult Depart ment. A practice meeting will be held Monday night, Septem ber 26, at 7:30. All officers are urged to be present at both sessions. Ann Bunn, and Margaret Ann Dunn. The pastor, Carlton T. Mitchell, will conduct morning worship at eleven o’clock. The Adult Choir will sing “O God Our Help in Ages Past.” The sermon topic will be “The Creators of Circum stance.” A baptismal service will be held at the evening worship ser vice at seven-thirty. Methodist Church The sermon topic for the pastor at the 11:00 o’clock Worship Ser vice at the Methodist Church next Sunday will be, “If a Man Sin Against God.” Visitors are wel comed to the Service and to the Church School which meets at 9:45. At the meeting of the Fourth Quarterly Conference on Monday this week E. D. Finch, P. G. Cur tis, and Mrs. S. G. Flowers, re tiring members of the Board of Stewards, were lauded for their long and faithful service to the church in the capacity of stewards.
