Friday, October 21, 1949 PILOT NEWS Our attendance at church Sun day had a slight increase from that of the past couple of Sundays. We want it to continue to increase. Little Michael Brooks spent the weekend in Raleigh with his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Eddy of Alexandria, Va., spent some time here last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Phillips. Mr. and Mrs. Oris Medlin of Durham were here for the week end. Evelyn Stallings spent the week end in the mountains. She was accompanied by some of her friends of the Hopkins Community. We are sorry that Mr. Alex Den ton is ill and in the hospital. We hope it won’t be too long before he will be up and out again. We are glad that Mrs. W. M. Stallings is able to be home from the hospital, although she is con fined to the bed for a while. We hope she will soon be feeling fine. Miss Lazalle Lewis of Raleigh was home for the weekend. Mrs. Claude Lewis, Mrs. Hu bert Bunn, Alice, and Bonita were among the many who attended the shower of Mrs. Rowland Gordon in her home on Saturday night. Everyone enioyed it. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Ray were honored with a shower on Friday night. They received a lot of nice and useful gifts. I’m sure they appreciate everyone of them. The G. A. will hold its regular meeting on Monday night of this week at the church. They have also invited the R. A. boys to meet with them. Mr. Teeter will help organize the R. A.’s on that night. Mrs. Lillie Stallings’ sister of Raleigh soent the weekend with her. We are planning a supper in the near future. So plan to be pres ent now. Will give further details next week. Let’s not target our church ser vices, and let’s try to keep increas ing our attendance by being pres ent for its services. —Bonita j NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL PROPERTY Under and by virtue of the power and authority contained in a certain Deed of Trust executed by E.
