Friday, December 23,1949 Mrs. Wilson Braswell Entertains at Bridge Mrs. Wilson Braswell was hos tess to the Friendly Nine Bridge Club last Friday night. Her home was beautifully decorated with nandina, holly and cedar. At the conclusion of play Mrs. Helen Screws was presented high score prize, and Mrs. Caressa Chamblee, low score. Mrs. Mar garet Finch, guest was remember ed with a gift. Present were Mesdames Rachel Temple, Cammie Wade, Rosalind Alford, Caressa Chamblee, Helen Screws, Margaret Cannady, Mar garet Finch and Miss Ruby Daw son. A delicious dessert course of eggnog and Christmas snow men cakes was served. Mrs. Ralph Talton Honors Bridge Club Mrs. Ralph Talton entertained her bridge club Monday night at their Christmas party. The home was decorated with a huge tree. On the mantel was an arrangement of blue lights and silver holly. A snow scene adorned the fireplace. Naples were drawn and gifts exchanged by all present. Those playing w r ere Mesdames Douglas Finch, Ruric Gill, Howard Beck, Pat Farmer, Bernice Bunn, J. Garland Godwin, James Alford, Eldred Rountree. Chilled fruit salad, crackers, sandwiches, fruitcake, whipped cream, and coffee were served by the hostess. Mrs. Long Honors Mrs. Avon Prirette Mrs. L. E. Long entertained for Mrs. Avon Privette at her bridge club recently. Her home was lovely with arrangements of hol ly, berries and greenery. Two tables were in play. Mrs. Rhoda Gill was winner of high score prize and Mrs. Ben Thomas, low score. A dessert course of boiled cus tard and cake was served.
