My sin oh the bliss of this glorious
thought
My sin—not in part, but the whole,
Is nailed to the Cross and I bear it
no more.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
O my soul.
A beautiful weekend just passed
and many were out for church. As
the Spring weather approaches
many are getting in the church go
ing habit.
Remember the church hours at
Hephzibah: Sunday School at 10

her doctor who has been treating
her injured knee last Friday. While
there she was taken ill and rushed
to Rex Hospital where she under
went a minor operation. She is
much improved and has returned
home to complete her recovery.
Our best to her.
Little Steve Perry gave his mo
ther an awful scare last week.
When she placed him in his bath
on Wednesday a. m. a mass of
bumps appeared all over him. She
called on neighbors to ask them
his trouble, some said Measles,
some said poison and many other
things but a trip to the doctor told
the true tale. He had a bad case
of mad itch which came from a
penicillin shot given him during
a recent illness. He’s doing fine
now.

Mrs. Ernest Parrish and children

failed in the church news from
Hephzibah. lam hoping to get
more church news in next week,

Tabernacle
Send a revival, O Christ my
Lord
Let it go over the land and sea,
Send it according to Thy dear
Word,
And let it begin in Me.
There is a revival meeting each
night this week at the Tabernacle
Church and the time is 7:30 in
stead of 7:00 which was in last
week’s paper. This new time will
give more people who work, a bet
ter chance to attend. We do want
every one to come and feel wel
come. Rev. Thurman Stone who
preaches over the Dunn radio sta
tion each Sunday and is pastor of
the Penson Baptist Church is con
ducting these services aided by
the pastor Wayne Poole.

Many visitors were at church
last Sunday for Sunday School and

Last Sunday Mrs. Pervis Rich
men’s Class taught a combination
class of the young men and wo

The men have been invited to
visit the Young Women and teach
them in a near future Sunday.
Many compliments were given to
Mrs. Richardson by the men for
teaching such a wonderful lesson.
The W. M. S. was called to
gether after Sunday School by the
president. A discussion of business
was brought up and voted on. Each
person that would and could were
asked to bring white linens to do
nate to the White Cross Hospital,
or either money. This was to be at
the church by Tuesday of this
week Mrs. Lovie Cooke suggested
to order plates to hang on the
wall in homes with the picture of
our church painted on them.
These are to be sold and the money
used for the W. M. S. treasury and
to help secure books for our new
library. These will be a cherished
memory for our children as well
as to beautify our homes.
The next W. M. S. meeting will
be at the home of Mrs. Lovie
Cooke in Zebulon on the first Wed

The R. A.’s, G. A.’s, and Sun

soon recover. Mrs. Polly Fuller
