LIZARD LICK
NEWS
It is more blessed to give than to
receive. Acts 20:35.
Next Sunday night, December
17, there will be shown pictures
of the “Christ’s Birth” at Hephzi
bah by Mr. Lee Pridgen. Those in
terested be sure to come. This will
be presented instead of a play as
was once suggested.
Last Sunday’s attendance was
187. It is good to keep this rec
ord. Do the wise thing: come to
church and bring the children.
All visitors are welcome at all ser
vices.
A mention has been made that
on Sunday, January 7, there will
be a talk on “Bible and Prayer.”
Even though it is a few Sundays
away, it’s a good time to think a
bout it now. This is a first re
minder of a revival in March. More
will be said about this at a later
late. Be thinking about this now.
The W. M. S. meets Friday at
2:30 p. m. in the Community Cen
ter.
Many are sick in the commun

all sick known to him. He would
like to visit them.
Mr. F. V. Johnson is still sick
in Mary Elizabeth Hospital at this
time but is improving nicely.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Privette are
still very feeble. Mrs. Privette’s
injured back is still paining, but
she is able to be up some. Mr.
Privette’s legs are still weak and
trouble him very much in getting
about, but he stays up most of the
time.
Miss Fannie Mae Gay returned
from her job to the home of her
mother, Mrs. Stancey Gay, Mon
day, and is confined to her bed
with a deep cold and a bronchial
ai'ment.
Mr. Bertie Carter is suffering
with an infected hand which heals
very slowly.
Miss Crettie Lou Parrish has
been on the sick list through last
weekend and had to miss school
the first of the week.
To these mentioned and to all
others, God speed their recovery,
and may good health soon come to
them.
