Next Sunday night, December 17, there will be shown pictures of the “Christ’s Birth” at Hephzi bah by Mr. Lee Pridgen. Those in terested be sure to come. This will be presented instead of a play as was once suggested. Last Sunday’s attendance was 187. It is good to keep this rec ord. Do the wise thing: come to church and bring the children. All visitors are welcome at all ser vices. A mention has been made that on Sunday, January 7, there will be a talk on “Bible and Prayer.” Even though it is a few Sundays away, it’s a good time to think a bout it now. This is a first re minder of a revival in March. More will be said about this at a later late. Be thinking about this now. The W. M. S. meets Friday at 2:30 p. m. in the Community Cen ter. Many are sick in the commun ity so your pastor asks you to make all sick known to him. He would like to visit them. Mr. F. V. Johnson is still sick in Mary Elizabeth Hospital at this time but is improving nicely. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Privette are still very feeble. Mrs. Privette’s injured back is still paining, but she is able to be up some. Mr. Privette’s legs are still weak and trouble him very much in getting about, but he stays up most of the time. Miss Fannie Mae Gay returned from her job to the home of her mother, Mrs. Stancey Gay, Mon day, and is confined to her bed with a deep cold and a bronchial ai'ment. Mr. Bertie Carter is suffering with an infected hand which heals very slowly. Miss Crettie Lou Parrish has been on the sick list through last weekend and had to miss school the first of the week. A surprise was given Mr. and Mrs. Privette by this visit, and a delicious dinner was prepared by Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Privette of Wendell and others.
