Thelma Lee Doyle of Raleigh spent the weekend with her par ents and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Williford Gay and Diana Doyle. Little Anna Privette spent the weekend with her aunt, Mrs. L. V. Bunch of Zebulon. Mrs. M. G. Privette and Mrs. Clifton Brantley visited Mrs. Bro dy Privette and Mrs. Geneva Pearce of Pilot last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Strick land of Rock Spring visited the A. D. Mills and Fred Rays last Sun day. Mrs. L. D. Perry and son, Law rence, Mrs. Ivon Pearce and Miss Hallie Pearce were Raleigh visi tors last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Zeb Whitaker of near Rolesville visited her parents, the Fred Rays, Sunday and Miss Tootsie Ray of Raleigh spent the weekend at home this week. Several of our people attended the funeral of Wyndel Lewis last Saturday at Wendell. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and all of the other parents that lost sons in that wreck have our deepest sympathy. Mrs. L. E. Privette spent a few days with her sister, Mrs. Early Lewis, of Wendell this week. Mrs. Lewis lost her son in a wreck last week. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Sarvis of Washington, D. C., were down over the weekend on account of the death of Mrs. Sarvis’ sister’s son, Wyndell Lewis. » Mr. and Mrs. Doyette Oakley spent Monday in Raleigh. Mrs. Oakley visited her doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Ray, Lou venia, Kay and Delestia Ray were Raleigh shoppers last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Perry an nounce the birth of a daughter. Mrs. Perry was the former Miss Paulina Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Corbett Pearce an nounce the birth of a daughter. Mrs. Pearce was the former Miss Lela Phillips.
