Friday, April 13, 1951 PILOT NEWS We had a very good attendance at church Sunday according to the weather. The W. M. U. held its regular meeting in the home of Mrs. Ben nie Lewis. There was a very good crowd present. The program was enjoyed by all. There were visitors here and there. Donald Be<|dingfield and Ran dolph White were visitors in our church on Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Merica and kids visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davis Stallings, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. James Pearce have returned to their home after visit ing in Florida with her people. Misses Judith Stallings and Melrose Williams were home with their parents for the week end. Mr. Johnny Alford from Wake Forest College was home for the weekend. Miss Jocelyn Martin visited with Florence Stallings on Sunday af ternoon. Janie Ray visited with Sue Bunn on Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. James Liner, Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Stallings, and Mrs. Alex Wood visited in Wil mington op Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wilder from Louisburg were visitors at her parents’, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Pearce, over the weekend. Mr. Cadwin Cone from Roanoke Rapids was home with his mother, Mrs. Rena Cone, over the weekend. Miss Virginia Creech is visit ing with Mr. and Mrs. Preston Massey and family this week.
