Hephzibah extends a hearty
welcome to you every Sunday.
Come to this church if possible
and worship every Sunday.
The 4-H Club will give a pro
gram the sth Sunday night at the
church. Come and enjoy the mes
sage in talk and song. Feel proud
of the Hephzibah 4-H Club.
Mrs. Lonnie Eddins requests a
letter to join the Rolesville Bap
tist Church.
The Baker Bible Class meets
Wednesday night at 8:00 o’clock
in the home of Mrs. R. W. Pounds.
All members are urged to attend.
The Dedication Day is near at
hand. Yes, next Sunday is the day.
It will be a day long remember
ed by the people of Hephzibah
Church community.
Mr. Josh Horton brought the
message last Sunday at Hephzi
bah. The pastor, Joe F. Roach, was
supplying for Rev. John Coley in
the North Street Church, Ral
eigh. The pastor was missed in
his cfturch, but the message by
Mr. Horton was greatly enjoyed
and welcomed.
We extend our deepest heartfelt
sympathy to Mrs. B. J. Wiggs and
to all members of the Eulis May
family due to the death of Mrs.
Chloe May. A wife, mother, and
sister that will be greatly missed
by all who knew her. She was the
daughter of Mrs. Annie Williford
of Wendell. “God gives and takes
His own but plucks that fairest
flowers for His home.”
Mrs. Maggie Horton is still
critically ill in Mary Elizabeth
Hospital. Our prayers are for her
and the family during these hours
of waiting and suffereing. God
speed a recovery.
Mrs. Pearl Wood is improving
nicely at her home. She return
ed from the hospital Tuesday of
last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Privette
have been feeling out of sorts and
not too well but are some better
at this time.
All sick have our best get-well
wishes for a quick return to good
health.
Mr. and Mrs. Roland H. Hill
and children, Windy and Roland,
Jr., of Raleigh spent Sunday with
Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Fuller and
Millie. Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Honey
cutt, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Par
rish and children, and Mr. and
Mrs. M. B. Alford and children
called in the afternoon.
Mrs. Martha Weathers of near
Rolesville spent Sunday with her
mother, Mrs. R. P. Privette.
Mr. and Mrs. Sexton Alford and
daughters, Sherrie and Catherine,
of the Tabernacle section called
on the M. B. Alfords Sunday.

sick. He hasn’t been feeling well
for over a week but shows some
improvement at this time.
Mrs. Milton Mincey is confin
ed to her bed with a virus infec
tion in the throat and has a seri
ous cold.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Perry and
children of near Rolesville, Mr.
and Mrs. B. J. Hocutt of near Sel
ma, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Wood and Jean of Raleigh visited
their parents, the P. W. Woods,
during the weekend. Many other
relatives and friends called also
during the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Dean spent
Sunday visiting in Ramseur with
old friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Grover Arnold and
Voncile of near Louisburg called
on the R. P. Privettes Sunday af
ternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mincey and
children visited her parents, the
Alma Alfords, of the Tabernacle
section Sunday.
Mrs. Nuber Bolton of Wakefield
is spending some time with Mr.
and Mrs. James Sledge and Mrs.
Myrtie Bolton.
Mrs. Mertie Bolton was given
a pig and chicken barbecue din
ner at her home Sunday honoring
her 69th birthday by her children.
Those present were her brothers,
R. H. Horton and W. J. Horton
and wife, Mrs. Nina Fort and
Jackie Moore all of Raleigh, Mrs.

Mrs. Ervin Dean of Eagle Rock
is real sick in Wake County San
itarium in Raleigh. She recently
had two operations at Rex Hos
pital. Our every wish is for hers
to be a speedy recovery.
