Park Chamber of Commerce. I
can also tell what day it is, since
there is a calendar on page 4; or i
I can make the baby’s chair high
enough by placing this fine vol
ume in the seat.
Just how much of the taxpay
ers’ money is wasted sending these
directories without cost to peo
ple like me is something I don’t
know, but it must be a lot since 1 !
note in the volume that 75.600 i
copies were printed this year. This
will probably be cut to 75,599
copies next year unless they can
find somebody who will agree to
accept the copy apparently reserv
ed for me. —Ferd Davis
Card of Thanks
Please accept my deepest thanks
and appreciation for the cards,
visits, and flowers given to me
during the time I have been sick
in bed The pleasure I have re
ceived from these kindnesses has
made my confinement more bear
able.
