went to Boonville for the week
end. Mr. Whitley plans to return
Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Sutton is Mrs. Webb’s niece.
Mrs. Turrentine will return to Bell
Buckle the last of this week but
will come back to Zebulon when
the Methodist Church is dedicated
in June.
Guests in the home of Mrs. O.
B. Spivey for the weekend were
Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Miller and chil
dren, Judy and Donnie, and O. 8.,
Jr., of Norfolk. Donnie remained
for a visit.
Entertain at Bridge
Mrs. Ben Thomas was hostess to
her bridge club Thursday at her
home. Beautiful arrangements of
iris, roses, and snapdragone deco
rated the living room where three
tables of bridge were in play.
High score awards were won by
Mrs. Irby Gill and Mrs. Howard
Beck. Low score prizes were pre
sented Mrs. Garland Godwin and
Mrs. Wallace Chamblee. Mrs.
Ralph Talton was presented guest
high.
A delicious dessert course was
served by the hostess.
