Four PEARCE NEWS Our revival ended Sunday morn ing. It was a great meeting, but I still feel like it shouldn’t have ended Sunday morning, but should have continued on a few more nights. Mr. and Mrs. Plybon Pearce and family of Garner and Mr. and Mrs. .David Lee Clayton of Durham were visitors in the home of Mr. Pearce and Mrs. Clayton’s parents, the A. N. Pearces, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Strickland and family are spending the week at the beach. Mrs. Let Johnson and Donna Fay visited their grandmother, Mrs. Katy Catlette, at Wakefield Sunday. Mrs. B. K. Gay took her mother, Mrs. Arthur Ferrell, back to see her doctor at Raleigh last week. Mrs. Ivon Pearce visited her stepmother, Mrs. Flonnie Haywood, at Social Plain Sunday. I want to take this time to say we enjoy having all the visitors from other communities in our revival this week and enjoy the special music. We enjoyed having our pastor’s daughter, Miss Pattie Lou Lamm, who is attending sum mer school at Greenville, in our service over the weekend to help in the special music Sunday. Mrs. Jim Phillips of near Zeb ulon spent Sunday with her sister, Miss Hattie Pearce. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Perry and daughter and a friend of Raleigh took dinner with their mother, Mrs. Lucy Perry, and Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Perry Sunday. Correction: It was Miss Barbara Perry instead of Barbara Pearce that has been on vacation; and Mrs. L. D. Perry instead of Mr. L. D. Perry that attended preach ing at Harris Chapel a few weeks ago. We were glad to see Mrs. W. H. Privette able to attend church some last week. She has been sick so long and not able to go any where. Mrs. Doris Mullins of Bunn and Mrs. A. K. May of near Hopkins Chapel visited their parents, the I. O. Pearces, Sunday. Mr.' and Mrs. Grady Ray of Raleigh spent Saturday night with Mr. Ray’s parents, the Fred Rays. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Marshall of Raleigh visited Mrs. Marshall’s parents, the Robert E. Pearces, last week. The former Angela Pearce and her husband of Rolesville spent the week with her parents, the F. O. Pearces. Little Garry Baker, son of Mrs. Joe Wright, spent the weekend at White Lake with her father and cousin, Mr. Jessie Baker and James Baker of Raleigh.
