We feel very thankful to know we have so many friends. Willie B. and Christine Hopkins Hopkins Chapel « Visitors at church Sunday were Mr. Howard Crisp of Burlington and Mrs. Dollie Bissette of Pilot. We enjoyed having them and in vite them to worship with us a gain. Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Lucy Hop kins who passed away last week. Surely such a life of Christian witness is a challenge to those loved ones left. On the sick list are Mrs. Ray mond Perry, Mrs. E. C. Stallings, Mr. Wise Doyle, and Thomas Mayes. May all of these find health and happiness speedily returning. Velva Pearce went to High Point last week to attend the Baptist Mid-Summer Student Con ference at Green Street Baptist Church there and to visit friends. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert C. Dil yard and Mr. and Mrs. John Bloomfield of Wyandotte Mich., have been visiting the B. T. Gays recently. Mr. and Mrs Burbon Driver of Norfolk, Va., and Mr. Jeff Phil lips of Washington, D. C., have been visiting Mrs. Susan Patterson. Mr. Luther Ray of Rockville, Md., has been here recently. Miss Melba Hobgood of Wake Forest is at Hilda Brannan’s. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Perry of Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Horton of Raleigh and Mrs. Tom Brannan of Raleigh were guests of F. C. Hortons, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John Foster, Jr., of Henderson visited Mr. and Mrs. B. K. Hopkins and Faye Sunday.
