A Small Town
With Big Stores
When speaking of cities and
towns, Zebulon is rated small, but
once in a while even local folks
sit up and take notice at some
thing about the neighborhood
which is unusual. For instance, W.
B. Bunn & Company, wholesale
grocers, is the largest wholesale
grocery business in Wake Coun
ty. Remember when the entire bus
iness was located in the building
now occupied by Bunn Electric
Company?
Zebulon Supply Company, ac
cording to our information is the
second larges wholesale grocery
in Wake County.
Top position for busines. .n the
town is held by Whitley Furniture
Company, which lives up to its
motto, “The Home of Beautiful
Furniture.” This store is the sec
ond largest furniture store in
North Carolina. Only High Point
has a larger store of this kind.
