Union Chapel News
We are proud of Union Chapel
because every Sunday our attend
ance is gaining. I have the same
opinion as Mrs. Vera. There are
enough people in this little com
munity to over run Union Chapel.
I wish I could see it just that
way one time. Let’s hope and pray
that we will be fore too long.
I’m sure everyone enjoyed the
wonderful inspiring sedmon
which Rev. Marvin Lewis of Ohio
brought to us. He is a wonderful
preacher.
Union Chapel extends much
symparthy to the grieved family of
little Curtis Edwards who pass
ed last Saturday night. God gives
us our loved ones for only a short
time here on earth. These things
we can’t understand.

Tabernacle Happenings
The attendance last Sunday was
199, a few short of the 211 on the
previous Sunday. Next Sunday be
ing Easter, we know more will be
out, but don’t forget the church
needs you every Sunday and you
need your church.
An average of 5 or 6 represent
ed the Tabernacle at the teachers
and officers’ study course at Cor
inth last week. An average of
about 50 from all churches at
tended each night. Mr. J. T. Smith
of White Oak was principal speak
er and Mr. Leonard Wilder of
Corinth assisted him. The regular
attending ministers were Rev. A.
D. Parrish and Rev. W. W. Turner.
Rev. J. H. Mauney, Associational
Missionary visited Thursday night
and made a picture of the attend
ing group. The examinations on
Friday night were successful. Fel
A. humn was sung by the group.
After a short business session, the

Hocutt introduced the program on
“Missions in Hawaii.” Those tak
ing part on the program were Ja
