Generous deeds like that can do more to build a community than the loud and blat ant bragging of the most active Chamber of Commerce group. Ac tions, we have been told, speak louder than words. • You can almost see the crops grow after rains like we had this week. • One of the understatements of the week was the Greensboro Dai lace Temple, superintendent, Mrs. James Creech, Mrs. Horace Gay, Miss Artelia Bailey, and Miss Shir ley Faulkner. Leading the beginners were Mrs. Carlton Mitchell, superintendent, Mrs. E. D. Ellington, Mrs. Mary Peoples, Mrs. Ed Richardson, Mrs. Joe Wood, Miss Ernestine Cor bett, and Miss Geraldine Phillips. Nursery Workers Nursery workers were Mrs. K. P. Leonard, superintendent, Mrs. Glenn Hinton, Mrs. Hardin Hinton, Mrs. Robert Sawyer, Mrs. Char les Creech, Mrs. Harry Bissette, and Mrs. S. P. Scott. The regular morning worship service will include the anthem, “Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God,” and solo, “I Stood at the Gate of the Year” by Mrs. L. M. Massey. The pastor will preach on the topic, “To Discipline or to Be Disciplined.” ly News’ description of Juanna Joy Mitchell. This newspaper fea tured a sparkling picture of the Zebulon beauty and then described her in a news story as only “pret ty.” • Success is still operated on the self-service plan, D. D. Chamblee reported to us last week. • We’ve already had favorable comments on Massey’s Hatchery’s advertisement featuring Charlie Boy Pace and his money-making pigs. Next week the ad will feature Rolesville agriculture students who have collected many blue rib bons with their Purina fed calves. Zebulon, N.
