cated on the corner of Third Street
and Pine Street, and is visited
each year by a host of farmers who
have come to expect courteous con
sideration and good prices for their
tobacco at this house.

warehouse on the Wendell Market.
These two experienced ware
housemen have done a great deal
to build the local market to its
present proportions, and the far
mers like to sell their tobacco on
the floors of these houses because
they knew Bernard and Walker

for a pile of tobacco.
Robert Coley, floor manager for
the Star Warehouses, is a fixture
on the Wendell market. He has
friends by the hundreds who
wouldn’t think of selling their to
bacco anywhere but at the ware
house he works for.
